Hi all im going to start out by giving a little background info on me.  Up until recently I have been a single mom whos child had no real male influence in my childs life. It shows because of how my son acts.  About seven months ago I found a guy that I want in my life forever and we have been unseperable ever since. He is making a huge difference in the way my son acts but there are still things I do not know what to do about. My Son is 4 years old and I have a 4 month old daughter. Up until just 5 months ago he constantly went to the bathroom in his pants.  Me, my mom and my grandmother tried everything we could think of to get him to quit, but it was up to my boyfriend to get him to quit. Now my son really is a good kid but he just don’t want to listen. When my boyfriend is home he is great. He listens and does what he is told. Yeah he will whine and cry but he still does what he is told. But when my man isn’t here its a different story. My son talks back, hits and throws things at me and my dog. Yesterday we went grocery shoping at Walmart and he was knocking things off the shelfs and tipping things over.  Opening all the doors to their coolers and just embarrassed me on his behavior. How many parents out there have these same problems? And how do you get over them?
